Lensmonkey was set up in 2006 by husband and wife team - Phil & Kate.
The brand name originated from Phil's nickname (The Lensmonkey) from his days at the BBC!
With the combination of Phil’s experience as a BBC Lighting Cameraman, his passion for photography and Kate’s editing and business background, the couple brought their skills together to do something they love!
As a well known Wedding photographer in Wales, Phil also photographs in a variety of locations in the UK and continues to be in demand as a Wedding destination photographer in Europe.
As a Lighting Camera Operator & Drone Pilot with 20 years experience in the television industry, Phil works for a number of high profile clients including the BBC, Channel 4, BT Sport, ITV and Channel 5.
Having received his 'Permission For Commercial Operation' from the CAA in 2017, Phil is now in demand as a Drone Operator.
Lensmonkey is based near Bridgend in South Wales, where the couple live with their two children.
