The two people we dealt with have been great from the start. Phil is such a lovely, fun, professional photographer that made us feel at ease. On the day itself, he was really helpful at organizing guests, and I have no doubt that the day wouldn't have run as smoothly if he wasn't there. It felt like having another friend there, and he made us feel at ease. He managed to show us a few photos on the day which we loved, and we received all of our photos back within 2 weeks. All the photos have been better than we could have imagined. A wow factor is the drone he has to take photos from the sky, including spectacular views of our venue at sunset. One of my favourite photos is one of all the wedding guests from a bird's eye view, arranged to stand in a love heart shape. All of our friends and family who have seen the photos so far have commented how brilliant they are. Thanks to both the people we dealt with!

We were lucky enough to have Phil as our photographer for our wedding at St. Peter's Church, Clearwell, and Clearwell Castle in October 2019. Phil is incredibly professional and put us both at ease from the moment we met him. He is very calm, very talented and very knowledgeable, and his skill and experience meant we felt completely relaxed and able to fully enjoy our day, knowing that we were in the safest of hands. Phil captured so many special moments of our day, and our photos surpass our wildest hopes and dreams. Phil is completely unobtrusive, and we loved his style of blending in perfectly with everyone. We had heavy rain on our wedding day, and Phil was completely unfazed - he knew the venue and grounds so well, and let us know when we were needed, seamlessly blending our photos in with the rest of the day and allowing us lots of time to enjoy being with our guests. We also really appreciated Phil's time, meeting up in person for a chat after booking, and visiting him in Dunraven Bay for a practice photo shoot. Phil and Kate are so helpful and quick to respond to any questions throughout the process, and we are so grateful to have received all of our images just a fortnight after our wedding! Such exceptional customer service. Our family and friends have been moved to tears by our images, as have we, and we will never be able to put into words how grateful we are for all of Phil's expertise, help and time. We booked Lensmonkey for our wedding in May 2019. From the moment we met the photographer we new we wanted him to photograph our wedding! He just made us feel at ease and was so friendly. I wouldn’t say I’m the most confident when it comes to having my picture taken but he made it very enjoyable he new exactly the shots he wanted to get and all the nice spots round the venue. And I love every single picture they are so beautiful and everyone has commented on what a great photographer he was! I’m so glad we opted to have them all on a USB as I definately wouldn’t have been able to choose ones not to have! He captured so many natural shots that I didn’t even realise so it was lovely to look through them and relive the day again. Thanks so much for helping capture our special day! We were delighted with our experience from beginning to end. Phil & Kate are professional and lovely... quickly replying to emails, transparent regarding packages and pricing, and giving us an amazing service on the day of the wedding and afterwards. We were quite nervous about having our pictures taken but the person I dealt with [Phil] made us feel completely at ease and told us exactly what to do in order to get the right shots. When taking natural shots he blended in so you'd barely notice he was there. Many of our guests commented on what a pro he was... super friendly and charming but also taking complete charge of the situation when 70 people needed to look in one direction at the same time!! We would most definitely recommend Lensmonkey if you are looking for a photographer. I have never been that comfortable with being photographed as I am fairly shy and found the day quite overwhelming at times, but Phil was extremely good at bringing the best out of me with his calming manner which put me at ease. Being familiar with our wedding venue he knew exactly where the best shots could be taken and our guests commented on how unobtrusive he was, they actually weren’t aware of him most of the time, exactly how it should be! We have some absolutely stunning photos to look back on which we are sincerely grateful for and would highly recommend Lensmonkey, they are quite simply the best!

Photography was one of our most important preparations to arrange & our main focus, as photographs will remain & allow our memories made on the big day, to last forever. Choosing our photographer was not difficult after our conversation with Phil. Phil was very informative with quotes & different packages that he had to offer. He was very friendly, seemed very clued up & was highly recommended by Clearwell castle. On the day of our pre-wedding shoot we were both very nervous & apprehensive as to what to expect. On arrival at the castle Phil gave us a very warm welcome & put us at ease from the very start. The shoot was great fun & he just blended into the background. The photos were stunning & the pre shoot gave us an idea as to what to expect on our wedding day. Lensmonkey are a brilliant team that put my husband and me truly at ease throughout 2017. We had a great initial meeting to discuss our thoughts, and tailored our wedding package to suit our needs. We kept in touch via email to book appointments and make payments, and this was done with ease and efficiency. On the day our photographer Phil couldn't have been more organised and impressive and checked in with us a number of times to ensure we were happy with our group shots and with how the day was being captured. He really made our guests feel right at ease with his unobtrusive and professional photography style and a number of people commented on his friendly smiles and good nature. We are absolutely delighted with our digital prints and our beautifully presented albums which were delivered efficiently, despite Christmas causing a slight delay, and I love sharing the memories of our perfect day. I would definitely recommend Lensmonkey to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Phil was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. We met with Phil to discuss plans and ideas for the wedding before booking him, this put my partner and I at total ease. He definitely knows his stuff which was greatly appreciated as planning a wedding can get quite overwhelming at times. He talked us through the whole plan for the day. Picking the right photographer to capture our big day was so important to me and I feel that Phil really met my expectations. On the day, he was so pleasant and helpful and really went above and beyond what was expected of him, and even though he was a big part of the day we hardly noticed him there, he just seemed to float around taking beautiful and natural photos of all the guests. “From start to finish the service provided was top class! It was difficult for us because we were planning our wedding from New Zealand but once we got back to Wales, just before the wedding, we met up with Phil & Kate who really put our minds at ease and had been to our venue before our meeting to explore. They had some great ideas and also suggested some wellies for some possible muddy shots, this advice proved to be invaluable! Phil’s excitement and enthusiasm for our venue was wonderful and we certainly felt that our photographs for our big day were safe in Phil’s hands. Our big day came along with severe snow- ahhhhh!!! Along with all the drama that the snow brought, Phil was truly a calm in the storm. He let us know the day before that, whatever the weather, he’d be there and that he had snow covers for his tyres - it was a huge relief! On the day he kind of blended into the background, letting us get on with our preparations. This style continued throughout the wedding. We really enjoyed the pictures he took of us after the ceremony, outside in the snow. It was freeeezing but because he was so prepared and knew exactly where to go, we got some truly amazing shots. From start to finish it has been a pleasure dealing with Phil and Kate. Not long after the wedding they put the pictures online, we were not expecting them so soon and once we had made our final choices, in no time at all, they had sent our album and photographs to us in New Zealand. We were so worried about them arriving in tact but they had wrapped them so well and they were in perfect condition. Thank you!”

Lensmonkey were brilliant from start to finish. We were lucky enough to meet up at our venue a couple of months before the wedding for some engagement photos. This meant that we got to know Phil before our big day - highly recommend doing this. Your photographer plays such a big part on the day and it was really important to us that we gelled with them - we needn't have worried because he was FANTASTIC!!! He really put us and our guests at ease, and has a great sense of humour! Unfortunately, it rained for the majority of the day but our photographer made it work, it didn't impact our photo's. I can't express how happy we both are that we chose Lensmonkey, our photographer was very patient and worked through our list of required formal shots in an efficient manner, meaning that we got more time with our guests. In terms of the turnaround time on getting our photos- you can't fault it, we had our USB within three weeks. We would highly recommend Lensmonkey to anyone- fantastic, professional and fun! “Fabulous Photoshoot for a 4 year old!”
I booked a photo session for my granddaughter and I was slightly apprehensive because she is usually reserved with strangers and I didn't want her to be stressed and the photos to reflect any tension. Not the case with the Lensmonkey Team, she was instantly relaxed and smiling and thoroughly enjoying herself within minutes! We did an indoor session in the studio and he was both professional and fun, my granddaughter was giving Kate Moss a run for her money by now, twirling and laughing and generally having a great time. We followed this with some outdoor photos where the photographer just went along with what my granddaughter was doing (picking flowers) and capturing the moment while she played. I had no doubt that the photographs would be amazing and they were. We have a set of photos which the whole family love, we will truly treasure them and they will be a momento for my granddaughter when she is grown up. Very competitive pricing for the quality of service. An excellent investment and I have no reservation in recommending Lensmonkey to anyone. Many thanks to everyone!

“Best Wedding Pictures Ever”
The Lensmonkey Team are utterly fabulous. We had a short engagement and by luck found Lensmonkey to be free on our wedding date. We received an outstanding service from start to finish. They offer a range of packages and ours didn't quite fit the box so we were offered a bespoke service package. We wanted natural photos that captured moments and would make memories. We also wanted a friendly photographer who wouldn't dominate our day and that's what we got and more! We married in a church and had our reception in the garden on a beautiful sunny day. Our wedding was relaxed and happy and Lensmonkey caught the feel of our wedding perfectly. Unobtrusive, artistic and good fun he became part of our day and he received so many compliments from our guests from "he was such a nice guy!" to "those are the best wedding pictures we've ever seen!" Indeed, I look back at my photos and think I hope we looked as good in real life as we do in those photos! I would whole-heartedly recommend Lensmonkey for any photographic need - truly outstanding!
